Gilles Carlier d’Odeigne is active for years in the corporate coaching to render organisations agile. He teaches strategy and innovation at the UCL and at ICHEC. He is also co-founder of AGILEmaker.

New technologies and IT risks are daily reality for Marc Vael. He helps administrators by giving them concrete advice on how to best protect personal data and sensitive company data. Everything is a question of balance between the use of digital information and information security. He is visiting professor at the Antwerp Management School, the Solvay Business School and Howest. He is also Chief Audit Executive at Smals, President of ISACA Board and member of the Audit Committee of HOGENT Belgium.

 

How board members can take advantages of disruptive technology to enhance their performance
The world is becoming one big village thanks to an increasing speed of technological innovations. But how can these innovations in practice help board members in performing better? In this session, you will get a series of examples, tools and apps that directors can use in order to enhance their performance before, during and after board meetings. The session will be discussing new ways of communication and reporting, information analysis and business intelligence, and decision and voting. Olivier Onclin, Chief Operations Officer at Belfius

 

Bio
Olivier Onclin is Chief Operating Officer (COO) Customer Services Innovation & Technology Belfius since January 2015. As a member of management, he also serves on the Board of Directors. Onclin Olivier holds a Commercial Engineer degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Brussel and from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. He joined the former Dexia Group in 2007 and late 2008, he took over the management of the operational teams Payments & Accounts of Belgian banking division. In 2012, he was appointed Marketing Director Public & Wholesale Banking, a position he held until his appointment as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the beginning of 2015.

During this presentation, Olivier Onclin testifies how, as a member of management, the revolutionary new technologies are used to further improve the customer service of the Belfius Bank. An inspiring session from of a passionate man about technological challenges in the banking sector.
