1. Our offices
 
Callens, Pirenne, Theunissen & C° was created from the accountancy office founded in 1936 by the former Professor Theo Pirenne, who lectured at the universities of Antwerp and Brussels.
 
Soon after the foundation of the "Belgian Institute of certified accountants", (Instituut der Bedrijfsrevisoren I.B.R.) in 1953 Professor Theo Pirenne was appointed auditor in a number of large industrial companies, this as well in the Dutch-speaking
as in the French- and German-speaking region of Belgium.
 
The current office is managed by a group of seven partners-auditors, experienced in national and international audit procedures. Several among them are also professor at
the university.
 
The office is currently situated among the most important national and international offices in Belgium.
 
In order to provide our clients with a better service, Callens, Pirenne, Theunissen & C° has several offices located all over Belgium - i.e. in Antwerp, Brussels, Hasselt, Kortrijk, Namur, Verviers - in the Grand-Duchy of Luxemburg, in Germany in Berlin (Wirtschaftsprüfergesellschaft) and in France in Lille (Commissaire aux Comptes).
 
The offices have all possible auditor's qualifications, i.e. audit
of banks, savings banks, portfolio associations, insurance companies, and a number of industrial and commercial companies in the most various sectors, as well as a number
of Public Welfare Societies.
 
2. Our staff
 
The employees have a university or similar education and have a broad experience in national and international auditing practices, tax law and consultancy work.
 
We only hire highly qualified staff.
 
The permanent education of our staff has always been one of the office's most important objectives.
 
3. Our approach
 
Due to our flexible and dynamic views, we deal with our client's issues with a creative, innovative and constructive inspiration.
 
Since we have a broad experience on an economical and social level, we can offer solutions and advise efficient choices.
 
Callens, Pirenne, Theunissen & C° assists the management where it is confronted with needs for which it does not have immediately the necessary expert knowledge internally. That way, the management can focus its energy and talent on its
